ASIC issues major cyber resilience report
ASIC has just published Report 429 Cyber resilience: Health check to help organisations improve cyber resilience.
ASIC chair Greg Medcraft said: “Cyber attacks are a major risk for ASIC’s regulated population and that means cyber resilience is an area of ASIC focus. We will consider incorporating cyber resilience into our surveillance programs, across our regulated population.”
The report says: “Considering cyber insurance may be an appropriate business decision based on a company’s risk profile.”
The report highlights the importance of cyber resilience among ASIC-regulated entities and provides health checks to increase cyber risk awareness and resilience.
